Implants/TE one week post BMX?

Has anyone had implants/TE shortly after BMX? There was too much bruising from a recent biopsy last week during my BMX so my PS wouldn’t do the reconstruction. I’m going back tomorrow to have implants placed (hopefully) but there is the possibility of TE. It’s an outpatient procedure! I just got my original drains out today but will get 4 more tomorrow. I’ve had it really easy after BMX. I’m very nervous.

If anyone can tell me what to expect or give me any advice I’d appreciate it! I feel like I’m starting over with recovery!

So I’m back and I have my implants in! In a decent amount of pain especially at one drain site but doing well. Happy to have skipped the TE’s.

Glad you got through that. Especially skipping TE's. One less (at least) surgery.
