Concerned due to pain

Options

I was diagnosed in 2015, had a recurrence but not a recurrence in 2016.  They found cells, but when they biopsied them it didn't look like cancer cells, but had mucous like my cancer cells.

I know the saying is to monitor the pain for 2 weeks before seeing a doctor.  I've been monitoring myself since the last week of November.  On November 28, 29, and 30 I had pain that felt like it was shooting down from below my nipple and going into my chest.  I only had the right side that had a mastectomy.  I also had pain on my back side, near where my bra strap would be.

I workout, but that week I had only worked out a few times, so I knew it wasn't from that.  I also haven't been doing anything different with my workouts, it's just maintenance.

It skipped a few days then on 12/3 it was shooting from my right nipple and then onto my side  On 12/4 it was pain from my left nipple, and a bit in my back. It hasn't fully been two weeks, but it's also not time for my period.

Has anybody had that type of pain that was caused by something else?

Thanks!

As cancer patients, anything that concerns us should be followed up but I will say that as we get older, even sleeping funny/different can cause pain.

Workout pain isn't always immediate either. So, could be caused by something else...yes. Trust your gut/body though. If you think something isn't right, don't spend months worrying. Go and find out what it might be so you can shelve the concern.

    Good luck to you!
