Hi everyone! I'll be starting TCHP within the next month and I'm having a hard time picking which day of the week for my treatments. It will be every three weeks. In your experiences, which day post-chemo were the symptoms the worst? My boss couldn't be more supportive and understanding of my need to take time off, but I'd like to work as much I can. I'd really appreciate any advice and/or insight. Thank you!

Day 3-4 seemed to be the worst for me. Effects are cumulative and it seemed like I needed more days off toward the end as it was harder to bounce back. (especially after #5 &6)

Agreed. I had infusions on Wednesdays and felt tired that evening but pretty normal on Thursday and Friday. By Friday night - I'd start feeling not so great. Saturday and Sunday were the worst days then I'd feel gradually better.

I didn't really have a single peak for all side effects but I was generally out of commission days 1 through 6 or 7 and then sometime there after I would get stomach cramps with some diarrhea that made me fear not having access to a restroom. I probably could have made more use of the Imodium but the cramping could be unpredictable.

I had my infusions on Tuesdays. I felt worse from day 2 to 10.

I did my infusions on Wednesdays and on Friday afternoon I'd leave work a little early and go home and sleep. The bone aches from the neulasta would kick in Saturday and mostly wear off by Monday. Rounds 5 & 6 were more difficult to bounce back from.
