Trying to Stay Calm

3 years out from diagnosis, went for a routine physical and my blood work and urine came back all out of whack.

My white blood cell count is really low, my liver enzymes are high, and my urine has Urobilinogen Hight, Bilirubin and Keytones. Next up is a abdomen Ultra sound Wednesday. Has any one had liver mets diagnised/found this way. Im still hoping it is just from meds.

Hi there. So sorry you are going through this. I'm not in your situation but I wanted to wish you good luck. I'm a RN and there could be other reasons besides metastasis for the abnormal findings. Try to remember they have to prove you have a recurrence before you actually have one. Hang in there. We are all here for you. Good luck and keep us posted.

Some meds can elevate labs; so can herbs and supplements. Sometimes, the labs are just off and when redone, perfectly fine. They say never to freak out with just one lab. I had elevated bilirubin in my 30s...repeat lab showed nothing and has not shown anything for 30 years.

Let us know how the ultrasound goes. Hopefully the labs are just messed up from the meds.
