Gerson therapy

Hello everyone!

I am 26 years old. I was diagnosed with stage 4 invasive ductal carcinoma with mets to the liver and bone in March, 6 month after giving birth to my daughter. I went through 4 cycles of AC, followed by 6 cycles of Taxol with absolutely no response. Multiple estrogen blockers also failed. I have been told surgery is not an option. I was supposed to start a clinical trial combining immunotherapy and radiation, however due to my recent spike in liver enzymes, I could no longer participate in the trial. 😞 I am feeling very lost. It is truly becoming difficult to stay positive and to not get discouraged. I have a sweet 14 month old girl and I can't imagine not being here for her. I genuinely believe that poisoning and radiating my body is not the solution. I want to focus on improving my immune system. I’ve cut out a lot of processed foods and sugar from my diet. Recently I've been researching some alternative therapies and have stumbled onto the Gerson Therapy. Juicing, coffee enemas, etc. Has anyone tried this and has had any success? I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

    Hi,

After reading your post, I knew I needed to reach out to you.

When I was diagnosed the first thing that came out of my mouth was:

I can't wait to see what GOD is going to do and I will not put poison in or on my body!

I have heard of the Gerson method and I absolutely

    Incorporated into my healing process.

I was diagnosed with invasive ductual carsinoma stage II

The minute I was diagnosed 6.18

I changed my diet and incorporated Chris beat cancer methods too.

I am seeing a natrural path DR. For all of my treatments.

I have had 9 treatments since my right mastectomy 8.18

    They include

    vitamin C IV

    Liver detox IV

And a few other IV'S also a natural Chemo that is called mistletoe.

    Also other natural remedies

I also believe in looking into what made your body at dis-ease, it is a huge part of the healing process.

For me... it was unforgiveness and people pleasing

I am a wife and a mother of 4 and worked a full time job.

After all of this I am now realizing who I am.

I hope some part of this helps

I am praying for you and your family

If you have any questions let me know

    God bless you

    mercerg,

Have you heard of Sanoviv? It is a hospital in Mexico where they treat cancer unconventionally. It is very expensive. Maybe you could start a Go Fund Me account.

I would also give Gerson therapy a try! I'll pray for you.

My heart goes to you. I changed my diet to raw vegan next day of my diagnosis. I am not able to do the full gerson therapy due to some medical condition. However I am also on hormone therapy and targeted drug. I juice a lot of carrots and take wheatgrass shots. I'm trying everything. Good luck to your treatment.

If you have the ability to get a consult, you might want to look into Dr Keith Block in Chicago. He is an integrative medicine specialist in cancer treatment. Does a huge amount of BC> He uses the best of the nutritional practices as well as western medicine. He has and extremely good reputation and decades of experience. Often treats "untreatable" people. I had a friend who was treated by him, so I got a consult from him ($1800). I followed his advice and it helped me a lot. I had an excellent response to chemo and I stayed very strong.

I am a little concerned about 'the natural approach' when it is divorced from all western stuff and has no side by side testing behind it. Dr Block uses natural means to get your body healthier and to make it respond better to treatment and all his recommendations come from data and studies. He has a book called "Life Over Cancer" which has a lot of great info!

I am a mom of three grown kids and I know how badly you want to be there for your daughter. I send you a giant hug and wish you all the best.

Mercer I am sorry my heart breaks for you because I have two dear friends with young kiddos who are stage IV

    Things I would consider

    • look into the prolon fasting mimiking diet by Valter Longo and then another location is The True North because fasting itself is very very good for cancer.
    • Look into Crazy sexy cancer with Chris Carr. She inspires the heck out of me and she really really is the juicing queen. She juices her veggies first in the morning and then drinks three quarts throughout the day.
    • Watch "Forks over Knives" Their food is good and you could eat a very low cancer diet that might help arrest Breast Cancer and help at the very least slow it down. pm me if you need help with the best book to start with or how the heck to switch to Whole foods plant based. I am happy to suggest based on what your situation is.
    • I personally eat cooked mushrooms I would consider a supplement as well if I were stage 4, flax seed at least 1 Tb a day, Broccoli Sprouts ( so easy to make I have a jar on my counter all the time and eat a cup a day) , I eat sweet potatoes and a lot of Cruciferous. I will send you a few links.
    • This is my favorite go to Recourse for dietary prevention. Just go to the search and watch everything on Breast Cancer. Its very well researched and very good. If you need help or advice we have a great thread in the lifestyle section about whole foods and recipes. Also feel free to pm me.Plant Based Support Thread at Breastcancer.org

Here are a few video I really think are useful from Nutritionfacts.orgBroccoli vs Breast Cancer Stem Cells
      Broccoli and Breast Cancer survival
Flax Seed and Breast Cancer Prevention
mushrooms and Breast cancer ( I eat atleast one cooked mushroom a day)

So this is my third attempt to get my story out. I understand the scary emotional journey that presents itself. I was diagnosed with IDC TNBC, stage II, grade 3, 2.5 cm (LB) in November 2016, "I believe," really it's all a blur.

I've had conventional tx since the beginning (2017-2018); AC/Taxol combo, lumpectomy, lymph node dissection twice, bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, and radiation. Less than 6 months from chemo and rad it spread to additional lymph nodes same side.

Third occurrence in September of 2018 (matastic) spread to rt breast. Back on chemo this time oral (xeloda). Now here I am 6 month screening and results found new lesions in my chest and growing in size on my lower lung all rt side.

So yes, needless to say I am ready for a change. Going the conventional way my oncologist wants to do both chemo and immunotherapy (Abraxane and atezolizumab). At this point I have given them opportunity after opportunity to destroy my body in hopes of a positive outcome. Well I'm not willing to commit to that anymore. Conventional will be there. I know in my heart and soul I need a change. God, my husband, children, and loved ones are in agreement.

I begin my new journey March 20th. I decided to do the Gerson diet and receive tx over in Mexico. I know everyone's journey is different and I can respect that, but for me and mines this is best for us. I wish you all the best on your individual journey. I will keep you all updated.

    Hi momkidsgrandkids38,

I am excited for you and the experience you will have in the Mexican Clinic!  That's in less than 1 week!!  I have been doing the Gerson Therapy since diagnosed.  It will be 1 year next month since my initial lumpectomy.  The margins were not clean but  I chose not to have another lumpectomy or any other "scientifically proven treatment", but to go 100% natural using herbs, organic everything, dry brushing, infrared light with lymph message, coffee enemas (twice a day and now once a day), grateful meditation, and rebounding, just to mention a few.  The effects that this "quackery" (lol) has had on me is all positive.  I am way healthier, which is proven by the way that I look and feel, as well as my greatly improved blood tests.  I also did Biowell Testing with a Naturopathic Dr. several time and that too has continuously shown marked improvements.  This experience is going to put you back in charge of your life and you will find that parts of what you learn will be continued even after you regain your health back.  I know people personally that have come back from being given short timeframes to live.  My husband had 4 daughter, all married.  3 out of 4 of the son-in-laws have mothers fighting breast cancer right now.  2 of them are where you are at with reoccurrence and the other one is just waiting for it to reoccur again, even though it may not. That is a horrible life for their entire familys.  I will keep you in my prayers!  I hope that you update us here, even if it's just through personal messaging.  Have a wonderful vacation, which is what I consider you are in for, when compared to what you have been through!!  Look forward to hearing from you :))

    Hi again!!

Just thought I would give an update, as promised. I just received my test results back from my mammogram and ultrasound done a couple of weeks ago. "There are no suspicious mass or macrocalcifications or architectural distortion to suggest malignancy. No significant change since prior examination." (which was 9 months ago) "No evidence of obvious residual disease on the mammogram or ultrasound." Their recommendation is that I follow up in one year by ultrasound and mammogram.

I truly believe that it was all of the alternative choices, natural therapies (ie. Gerson), pure foods and water, and numerous herbs that have made all the difference, along with plenty of meditation and prayers!! All the best to everyone else here as well, as you continue your journey.

Has anyone heard from momkidsgrandkids38? I was hoping for an update from her after attending the Mexican Clinic she mentioned above.

That is great Marcia! I had my follow-up testing that I mentioned above. How time flies by! My ultrasound went from a Byrads 4 to a Byrads 0. My Oncologist is still after me to take the treatment that I refused two and a half years ago though. They want to still go in and clear the margins and take lymph nodes, even though I show no sign of breast cancer now. I allowed them to do a follow-up biopsy over a year ago, to the most suspicious area in my breast, and it came back fine. They now still want me to have MRI guided biopsy's. I have been on my natural kick long enough that I have decided to go ahead with these biopsy's, but I made my Dr. promise that if they come back clean, she will stop requesting me to undergo surgery, radiation, and Chemo meds like Tamoxifen, etc. I will be going to Sunnybrook in Toronto for that on Tuesday, so I'll update here when I get my results back.

Being that this is a forum regarding The Gerson Therapy, I just want to say that, besides eating and drinking an all organic diet, I am still doing the coffee enemas daily and firmly believe that these are the tricks to balancing my hormones, detoxing all of my major organs, and ridding my body of nasty parasites! I've never felt better!!
