since I couldn't bear the wait anymore, I decided to call the genomic test lab that do the oncotype dx to find out if my results are ready. And finally the results are ready and were sent to my doctor an hour ago. However because of different time zones, I cant get my results from my doctor till tomorrow!!!! I could get a copy from the lab, but requires me filling some form and would take a few days....

I hate the wait, no idea how I'm going to sleep tonight! So frustrating!!!

Anyway just needed to rant away! Husbands snoring away and now I'm sleepless

Raysal - Sorry you are going through the wait and worry, worry and wait. This is such a hard part of a hard process. Here's hoping your doctor calls very early. I just went through a biopsy (after two rounds of BC in 2000 and 2017) and the resulting wait which including a weekend. It all came out okay this time but I'll never get those worry hours back! I had a mammoprint in 2017 and it seemed like a very long wait for the results of that. I am glad you are almost done and will find out soon. Best wishes for a good result. Polly

    thanks polly

To add to the frustration, I contacted my hospital today. They cant release any results till my oncologist reviews them and even then she needs to give them to me... they asked me to be patient. I was diagnosed on 27th of September do not ask me to continue being patient...

    So frustrating!!!

    This drives me so crazy.

Because of communication issues between the radiology lab and my gynecologist, I had to wait almost days after my biopsy results. Finally someone admitted to me that if I went into the radiology location and showed them my ID, they would print out my results and give them to me. So then I snapped pictures of them and emailed them to the gynecologist who had ordered the biopsy, and that's how she got the results...

Apparently we now have a right to our test results: You Have a Right to Your Lab Results: New Rules Provide Direct Access

I'm not sure how to enforce that right with different labs. It looks like they also have 30 days to answer, which is better than nothing, but hopefully you'll have met with your doctor long before then.
