Hi Everyone - I'm sorry for anyone that has to be in this waiting world! But reading about other experiences is really helpful.

My stuff:

I had a punch biopsy today on a breast lesion that has persisted for many months. I do have eczema but it has always been helped by my Rx cream. This thing can be reduced with the cream but always comes roaring back when I stop using it. After finally realizing that I couldn't fix it on my own my GP sent me off to the derm. She looked at it and said that it was a little thick for eczema and since it was inflamed we should go straight to the biopsy.

My Grandma died of Inflammatory Breast Cancer which she ignored far too long because it started out as a sore on her breast. She made me promise to pay attention to these types of changes. I don't think I have that as it's been around too long and I think I'd have many more symptoms. But the doctor did mention Paget's - although she indicated that Paget's tends to effect the nipple and my thing is only on the areola.

The good news is that I'll know either way soon. My hope and prayer is that it's just my wacky skin.

My husband is just 1 year out of being deemed kidney cancer free. So we've been down this road at our house and I'm hoping 1 family member is enough!
