My mom has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer in her right breast. She has two lumps. One measures 1.5cm*0.7cm*0.3cm at eight o' clock, the other measures 1.5cm*1.0cm*0.3cm. Pathological examinations shows that the eight o' clock lump is most DCIS with multiple infiltrations, and the largest infiltration measures up to 2mm. The nine o'clock one is DCIS. DCIS plus infiltration sites are all ER- PR- HER2+. Sentinel lymph node 0/3. A mastectomy was performed on the right breast 2 months ago. Now the questions is whether she needs Paclitaxel+Herceptin treatment. Doctors have different opinions because it is a difficult case to decide. As to the side effects of Paclitaxel+Herceptin, does anyone on the forum have any suggestions as to what to expect and what we could prepare for it as family members. Thanks!!
