My doctor has given clearance to use Vitamin E on my scars. What I'm finding is oil - is that what I should use or is there a Vitamin E cream?

I use Vitamin E oil -for other purposes- and it is oil format, not cream. Something else that works wonders for scars is rosehip oil -many plastic surgeons recommend it.

I am a big fan of skin oils and the way I apply them for scars is: I keep the oil bottle in the shower. While still wet (but after shaking the excess water off), I rub a generous amount of it over the scar -any scars- and let it dry there, then gently pat dry if needed when out of the shower before putting clothes on.

I bought Derma E’s scar gel. Ulta stores carry it, or you can buy it on line. I put it on slightly damp skin when I get out of the shower in the morning, and again before bed.

I used Jason Vit e cream, got it the vitamin store. I just wanted an organic cream no chemicals. Worked nicely! Scars are very faint. Hope you're doing Well!
