I went in to see my PS last week to see about gaining some symmetry. I had breast augmentation 10 months prior to BC and although my implants made it through rads ...my breast has shrunk. My ps is proposing a lift to my non cancer side and a slightly bigger implant on my BC side. Has anyone had this with good results? I'm willing to do this but I'd like some reassurance from others. I'm also a bit nervous of breasts that will look too perky for my 47 year old body

I had reconsturction 11 years ago, the natural side "a lift" and an implant on the mastectomy side.I would like to get them re-done as the natural one is dropping and the implant looks a bit out of proportion. I am 52 and don't think you need to worry about being too perky! I am wondering if insurance will cover this. Do you know about this? I am assuming your insurance covers it in that you are 10 months out and not 11 years! Thanks so much.
