Watching a rise in CA 27-29

My onc's office has recently started putting charts and test results online. Before, he'd give me a print out of the results that were done in the office that day. But other tests that were sent out, I never saw until my next visit. That included the CA 27-29 test. So for the last few years, that test was always a mystery.

Now, looking back over the last four years online (I'm on an annual visit basis), I see a steady rise in the results. In 2014 it was 29.6; in 2015 and 2016 it was 30.1; last year it was 35.2, and this year it was 38.3. Is that enough of a change to get worried about?

My oncologist says he doesn't get worried until it has jumped 100 points as too many things can make it move around...

But I second Technoshift's comments and would do the test in six months vs. waiting another year.....
