Fibrocystic Area?

Can anyone tell me what fibrocystic breast tissue feels like? The upper outer portion of my right breast feels like it has semi hard spiderwebs in it. There is also a larger semi hard flat “mass” in the same area. The rest of the breast and the other side feel squishy/normal. I have several cysts in both breasts and had a scare about 6 months with a hard lump in the area of the large flat “mass” that turned out to be a septated cyst that went away. I have brought up this area with my MD before but she said she wasn’t concerned bc the tissue went all the way across that one side. Is it possible for just 1 breast to have fibrocystic tissue in just 1 area? I am going to bring up the flat “mass” with the MD again..I can move back & forth with my fingers but I have no other area like this. I am 37..thank you.

no answer for you but I’ve also been told be a breast surgeon that the multiple masses and thickened area in one breast are hormonally driven fibrocystic areas despite the fact they started with a dimple and progressed to this within about 3 weeks, are only in one breast, and haven’t changed at all across my cycle (except to progress, it’s never gotten any better during my cycle). I had an mri last Friday and stillborn waiting for result

Im going thru the same thing....I have a palpable mass on my upper outer left side...I can see it and feel it.......it's going on 2 months now and the only thing I know is that I have a 8 cm persistent oval mass.....but the ultrasound was done wrong so waiting to schedule a second one.......... hopefully soon..
