Almost 2 months ago I noticed a dimple in my breast, since then it has progressed to two dimples a thickened area of skin and several smallish lumps all in the one breast. It aches on and off and lumps are tender to touch. Ultrasound and mammogram were clear but noted category D very dense breasts. I also saw a breast surgeon who said he didn’t know what was going on but suspected it was just some very strange hormonal thing... only affecting one breast?!

So I decided to put all doubts to bed and just get an MRI to be 100% sure I’m in the clear, I had it done on Friday (it’s monday here). Two days ago, however, I felt an ache in one side of my pubic bone. Naturally I felt to see why, and there is a very hard grape size lump there along the pubic bone. It feels about the size of a lymph node but is hard as a rock and doesn’t move when touched/pressed (tender to touch too).

As I’m sure you can imagine my inner alarmist has immediately decided it is a metastasis, which I know is ridiculously unlikely. I figure I’ll wait until I get called in for mri results and get it checked then but part of me doesn’t want to mention it for fear of looking like a hypercondriact coming in with yet another lump right after just being cleared for the last one.. argh
