Policies we would like to see passed by Congress

I was thinking about how divided we are when it comes to elections but how much we have in common when it comes to policy.  For example, 75% of Americans say that having insurance companies cover pre-existing conditions is very important to them.  If we can agree on issues that we want to see addressed, we can start a call-in campaign to Congress to address the issue. What is the single most important policy that you would like to have Congress pay attention to?

I would very much like to see voting issues addressed. Would this not be the foundation to addressing needs to be dealt with in Congress. Is this not one of the only ways that all get to be heard?

Most voting issues are under the control of the states. I'm not certain how much authority the Federal Government has.  Does anyone know?

Sounds like there is also going to gun issues addressed hopefully. Would this be shared by the individual state and the government? Is there legislation out there already or would work begin anew now that there is the House to work through ?
