Multiple Biopsies at One Time

I am scheduled for 3 biopsies on 11/19. I hate that it can't be done sooner. One is for a 1cm mass on the left and 2 on the right for suspicious calcifications. Is it common to have multiple biopsies requested?

I had 2 biopsies done at one appointment. One on the breast, and one for the lymph node. I’d say it’s pretty common if they’re seeing more than one spot of concern. Might as well get it all done at once and get pathology reports at the same time instead of separately and dragging the diagnosis process out longer than necerssary. Good luck!!

I also had 2 areas biopsied at once. Lymph node and breast. I think it’s definiteky good to get them both looked at, at once! This way you will know results on everything

I had 2 biopsies done on the right side on the same day. One was for a mass, the other for calcifications. A few weeks later I ended up with two biopsies on the left side as well. One for a mass, the other for a group of suspicious nodules. I would have rather had mine done all at once. But the issues on my left side weren't discovered until my surgeon ordered an MRI after my diagnosis on the right side.

Good luck with your biopsies!! I'll be praying for good results!!
