Aromasin (Exemestane)

Is anyone out there taking Exemestane longer than one year? I'd like to hear your story and anything about side effects, changes you have made to your life, especially dryness or malfunctions.

I've heard a lot about Femara which I had to stop taking but not from Aromasin.

I had the same SE as Femara. Took exemistane for one year and stopped

Hi JoE777, Yep, that Exemestane is a Beetch. Well read my latest post because I was on Tamoxifen for about 9 months and then the side effects hit. I just quit everything. We'll see what happens in about 6 months once this crap is out of my system. Lovely. You take care!

Hi Adina, most of us diagnosed with ER+ DCIS are prescribed Tamoxifen regardless of age/menopause status. You will probably have a more lively discussion if you post your concerns about Exemestane on the Hormone Therapy Before During and After forum https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/78. Hope you get helpful advice.
