I had a bilateral mastectomy with a tissue expander. About one week into radiation I started having a constant headache. My radiologist does not think radiation is the cause. Anyone else have this same side effect?

I use to be susceptible to headaches prior to BC but I had it fixed by going to my chiropractor. I'm at the same stage as you, currently with TE and will have my 7th radiation appt later today. I always feel like I have a headache coming on after, which sucks. I think for me, knowing my neck issues, part of it is from having my neck turned to the left during radiation, even though its only 5-10 minutes it just irritates my neck. Also that there is no cushion on the radiation table doesn't help.

My back and neck were doing just fine until I started chemo, I wasn't able to keep up with my chiropractor appts so I'm having more trouble with them. I need to find to time to get back to regular appointments. I was feeling so much better, especially my neck with having no headaches.

Hope you find some relief soon.
