Bra recommendation for radiation?

I've been getting by with my regular pre-cancer bras through lumpectomy and SNB. Discovered some that weren't quite supportive enough after the L, and others that aggravated the SNB incision area, but decided that symptoms would probably improve before new ones could be shipped, so I've been powering through. But with radiation looming ahead, I'd like to be prepared. Can anyone point me to a specific brand or style that might make this unpleasant experience a little more comfortable?

Check out TLC catalogue, www.tlcdirect.org, lots of good options there. The bamboo pocketed cool comfort camisole was nice and soft, seamless. Later on in my rads I had scabbing around collarbone area where I had some concentrated treatment, so I used a convertible sports bra that could be strapless on on side.It was Hanes brand. Good luck! To me, radiation was the easiest treatment 😚

I'd get something you don't mind throwing out after. You want to be able to be liberal with lotions and they will get stained from the lotions and creams. I used a couple inexpensive shelf sport bras from a department store. Even with regular soaking and stain remover, the grease stains just don't come out after a while so I essentially treated them as disposable.

I’ve been wearing Coobie bras throughout my surgical recovery and radiation. I still have a bit of swelling that makes underwires uncomfortable. The Coobies give me enough support (I’m a B/C cup depending on the brand) while being stretchy enough that I could pull them up from my feet for the first week or two after surgery. My radiation oncologist had me use calendula cream, which isn’t at all greasy and doesn’t stain. Good luck

Thank you! I just put in an order for a Coobie. :-)
