Dear Lord, please be with our BCO sister Illmae who had brain surgery this week. Please help her care team to give her the best care during her recovery process. We pray for good outcomes from her procedure that the doctors were able to get all the cancer and that she may continue to go on and live a good full life for years to come. Please also be with her husband and other family members, as well as our fellow sisters on BCO who are supporting and praying for her at this time.

Dear Lord, Please be with all of us as we go through our diagnoses, our treatments, our surgeries. Please be with us as we navigate the life that comes after. Please help us find peace, strength, and even joy.

Please hold my Mother, who you called to you in November, in your arms. She never faltered, always believed. She thought of others, even at the end, when her cancer took everything. I miss her so much.

Dear Lord, thank you for helping our sister Illimae through her brain surgery and with her continuing recovery. We are pleased to know she is doing a bit better every day, and working her way back to good health with your help. Please be with her doctors and caregivers as you continue to help her to heal every day.

Also be with our sisters who are worried about pains in their body that make them fearful to call the doctor to be evaluated. And with our sisters living with cancer, or who are dealing with the news of a progression. Every day we get where we are healthy and/or not in pain is a true blessing.

Please be with those who are lost, alone, afraid, trying to make about decisions regarding treatment, worried about their jobs, uncertain about the future. Be with the family and friends of our sisters in treatment so that they know the right things to offer and kindest words of encouragement to share.
