Tamoxifen, night sweats, hot flashes and alcohol

Just reporting my experience, in case it's helpful. I started Tamoxifen around Feb 2018. Some insomnia, but no other side effects. Normally, I'd have a small glass of wine on 3 days per week max. Then I went on holiday recently, and was having a glass of wine (or 2) every night. After about 3 days, I noticed that I was getting hot flashes and then night sweats started- just horrible! Stopped drinking any wine, and they went away again within a few days.
