Experiences with ONLY Fat Grafting for Reconstruction

Has anyone had ONLY fat grafting for recon? No flap or implant with it? I have a lot of skin left over, want to be small (A-B cup), and think that it might be a good 'first step' for me towards reconstruction since it is not 'undoable' like the DIEP or LAT flaps are. If there is fat necrosis or dissipation, I could just move to the 'more serious' routes for recon next (DIEP or LAT flap). After a second opinion at Hopkins, this was one of the suggestions, by my primary PS is not on board. I want to avoid implants at this point - my radiated chest wall is still not very happy, although my skin might be able to handle it, I think the pec muscle would not.
