I know there is a big posting on here regarding hair growth. I didn't want to put this on there, as my hair has already grown back. Those ladies are dealing with current hair loss and this is not that. My question is after 1 1/2 years since my last chemo, my hair is not what it use to be. It looks frizzy most of the time. It looks stiff and frizzy. Still short, although I have had it trimmed a few times and coloured to have some style. I have voiced my concerns to my hairdresser and she says it is different hair now. Will it ever go back to silky hair like before. How does one cope with this? These doctors tell you your hair will grow back to the same as before. Why do they tell you stuff that is not true. Also, does anyone have suggestions to silken up the hair. I leave deep hair conditioner on and even then, when I dry it, it's one ugly frizz ball. I have to use colour conserve too, as I have colouring in my hair.
