New, bony lump on collarbone, near sternum

Has anyone had this? A small,hard, roundish bony lump just next to and slightly below collarbone in middle of chest. Xray shows nothing, but it's definitely there, and it wasn't there couple of months ago. Onco says we will watch it, not my favorite pastime! Can't find any definitive answers online. Can rads cause bone spurs? Don't spurs usually occur in joints? Ladies, help me out here🤔Not really worried, but perplexed. Thanks!
