Biopsies Today

Hi, everyone,

I am having stereotactic biopsies (mammogram-guided) in both breasts today. I have been okay all week, but I admit I woke up this morning more nervous than I ever remember being. The radiologist's office told me it would be 5-10 business day before my doctor receives the pathology report, which seems like an eternity to wait. I have very dense breast tissue with areas of calcifucations in both breasts, so I'm hoping these biopsies will tell us all we need to know. I just turned 53, and have four kids still at home...I'm praying for the best outcome today!

Can you ask the radiologist to call you, mine called me before I got the word from my Dr?

I have very dense breasts with calcification as well. I had my first biopsy today. I also have 4 kids still at home. I’m 44. Praying for peace and strength for you
