A bit worried

For the past few months my left breast has been sore (a burning feeling on the outside to upper part). I have not noticed any lumps.

Last week I went to get it checked as the pain is happening more frequently (it's on and off) and more intense. The doc put his hand on the upper part of my breast and wow...very tender. He didn't continue the exam and said I needed to have a mammogram.

Since then I have done a few exams as now I'm more worried. My left breast is bigger (I know this is often normal). It is lumpy where my right is not and an “indented" small area where the pain is. Also my left breast is quite itchy at times with no rash or redness.

As I wait for the mammogram next week has anyone else experienced this. Should I be worried???
