Hi everyone! I had a follow up ultrasound and compression spot mammogram yesterday. I just had my first mammogram prior. Iwas told afterwards that I have a cyst on right but solid lump on left. The radiologist believes it to be a Fibroadenomas and that it looks benign. He did not suggest a biopsy. He wants me to return in six months for ultrasound. I'm 36 with no breast cancer history far as I know. I'm worried about waiting six months. I'd like to know it's not cancerous. I called to expresss concern but they said not to worry, it's marked as benign on my record. I wish my concern was taken more seriously though. I lost a friend to breast cancer. Should I pursue a biopsy or just wait long as I can ? I go back in six months. It does hurt when pushed hard on. But I see no discharge or swelling. Anyways I don't want to overreact so thought I'd ask for advice. Thanks
