2nd MRI finds swelling at top of hamstring. A course of anti inflamms to follow with physio..how nice and normal is that!!

I am blessed and grateful for every day.

Now just make this awful ache go away please.

Wenweb, I too have had persistent rib pain. I noticed you're also taking Tamoxifen. Rib pain is listed on the Mayo Clinic list of Tam SEs.

Randy, I hope you feel confident that you're receiving excellent care. ❤️ To you.

Falconer - thanks for that link! I’m on a Tamoxifen break per MO’s orders for 3 weeks due to bone/ muscle aches. Obviously, my mind immediately goes to bone Mets, but this list eases my mind

well, that list is not to preclude testing when there is an issue. But it often seems baffling when we have been tested and the tests are inconclusive and no one says It's probably the hormone therapy.

Falconer, I have not been on Tamoxifen since ?2012. It had a lot of side effects alright. I ended up with a uterine growth (which was benign) and pancreatitis, which was by the numbers only, I was not symptomatic. I thought I had updated my profile. Better check again. I got so caught up in the concern of mets, I forgot to ask my primary care oncologist what could be causing the pain.
