So I finally got my results from my first biopsy and mammogram (I’ve since gone to another hospital where the breast surgeon wanted to have my left breast rebiopsied and new ultrasound)

In a nutshell: Birad 4c, irregular hypoechoic mass measuring 1.5 x 0.8 x 1.3 cm, no Internal vascularity, no posterior through transmission or shadowing (whatever that means)

Biopsy results- there is a fibroepithelial lesion containing for the most part, benign appearing glands, most suggestive of a fibroadenma. However there is significant epithelial proliferation noted as well. While there is clinically significant, moderate to severe hyperplasia identified focally, this appears to be benign. Myoepithelial stain confirms (p69 and smooth muscle myosin), confirms the presence of myoepithelial cells and the benign nature. CK 5 is also positive within the hyperplastic area, favouring non atypical hyperplasia, however this focus has been largely cut through, in the slides and stains, and only a limited amount of tissue is present for evaluation.

While note is made of Birad 4c report, there is no malignancy in the submitted material. However, consider excision as clinically and radiologically indicated, given the suspicion of malignancy.

When I went to new hospital they found another smaller mass close to other. Both masses were biopsies and my lymph nodes looked at.

Now waiting for new biopsy and ultrasound results on the 17 of October. Should I be worried that my first results was just a miss when doing a core needle biopsy and could be possibly hiding something not benign? I know most results are thankfully benign, but still scared.
