FLAP ladies esp DIEP Has anyone done whole body cryotherapy?

Hello, I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right area so please feel free to direct me. It's been a long while since I've posted to these wonderful boards! I had DIEP 8 years ago, no problems. I'm a massage therapist and dealing with elbow/wrist tendinitis and am interested in doing a whole body cryo session to help with those issues. I contacted my PS and he has no knowledge regarding any research on safety after a flap procedure. He said if it was a new procedure where the blood supply was limited to the transplanted blood vessel than technically a spasm casued by the cold could cause necrosis however he continued by now, I should have many new blood vessels running through the tissue and even if the original closed off it shouldnt technically cause any problems but he just doesnt know. So is there anyone here that has had FULL body cryo for any reason post diep flap surgery? tyia
