Can I just say "Holy COW!!" I posted a single question about trying DIM in another group on this site and on Facebook and got chewed out. Wow! So much for alternative medicine in our world of drugs. Anyways, glad I found this (thanks to dtad) board. I will be reading your posts.

Unfortunately, most women are not familiar with natural ways to fight cancer, and many more don't know that estrogen can be suppressed with a targeted diet. I try to do both conventional and alternative medicine. I have a friend who is cancer free 5 years all alternative medicine besides lumpectomy and radiation she is ER and PR positive, no Tamoxifen or AI's. Some people can't take Tamoxifen and AI's and there is a whole bunch more women who stop early before the recommended 10 years.

The beauty about all of this and I have said this before on these boards, is that we all have choices. We are lucky we do.

I agree with you 100%. I am ER/PR+ HER-, clear margins, no lymph nodes. MammaPrint test showed that I have a 7% chance of recurrence without hormone therapy. I had a dbl mastectomy. They insisted I take AI's. I tried, no can do. I felt like I was going to have a stroke. I'm glad I found this group.
