    Hello there! I am Deepika and my aunt just got diagnosed with breast cancer .Her reports were "Triple negative". So,is it worth going for hormone therapy or not because doctor wants us to go for it.I want to understand it better,Please help!

    Deepika, welcome to Breastcancer.org. Sorry for your aunt's diagnosis, but glad you found us!

    Doctors are still developing their understanding of triple-negative breast cancer, and that's why they may vary in their treatment recommendations. Hormonal therapy and Herceptin aren't likely to treat triple-negative breast cancer but this is definitely something your aunt should discuss with her doctor.
