    Hello Yeliel,

HER2- means exactly that and so you will not need the drug Herceptin.

In order for you to be classed as having triple negative tumour receptors with your breast cancer, you will need to be told that you are oestrogen negative (ER-) and progesterone negative (PR-).

It looks as though, because you have a large tumour, you are going to have chemotherapy first to try to shrink the tumour and then have surgery and probably finish with radiotherapy.

If you are ER+ and PR+ you will be offered a drug such as tamoxifen and/or aromatase inhibitors such as Arimidex. These are anti-hormonal drugs.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

    Sylvia

I just found out that it is ER positive and PR positiv, so not tripple negative? Hmhm..

And yes, I will have to take pills for 5/10 years after I'm done with treatment..like you Said, some hormon pills :)
