Biopsy results. Need opinions

Happily it said malignancy not seen but says ductual hyperplasia. I did look that up and it raised questions. Is it possible that the pathologist missed something or something else could appear as this? I just want to make sure that I am advocating for myself and not just brushing something off. My mass had just about every sign of malignancy so that worries me a bit. They are emailing me the actual path report soon

Does it say usual ductal hyperplasia or atypical ductal hyperplasia?

It didn’t specify. I’m also worried they may have biopsies the wrong mass. There were a few and close in proximity. A student located the biopsy area and the measurements were a little different

Have you had your post biopsy appointment to discuss with the doctor? That is what you need to do. We would all be guessing based on what little information you know.

I agree, I would ask the doctor if it was atypical or normal as well. Also, address your concern about the wrong mass being biopsied. It never hurts to clarify, especially if it's playing on your mind.

diagnosed with DCIS, had lumpectomy and hit clear margins they did come back on pathology report showing LCIS as well. I’m having radiation for DCIS will the kill the lcis cells as well? What about tamoxifen- was really against on just the DCIS but now with lcis should I take
