Cycling after BMX surgery?

I rode 19 miles to chemos #4, #5 and #6. I am looking forward to getting in a few weeks of riding before BMX on 10/17.

For other cyclists out there, how long was it after BMX that you were able to ride a bike? I know this may seem so silly, but as an avid cyclist I'm looking forward to getting everything (including cycling) back to normal, after a difficult year.

    I started mountain biking about 2 days after I got my drains out. Never asked the surgeon, just did what felt right and made me happy. Rode fat bike through chemo since it was Jan- may, and rode hard all through radiation. Even got.podium in a race with 4 days of rads left to go.
