Ultrasound scan showed benign breast conditions. Antibiotics didnt seem to work. What should i do. Please help. I am 27 years old. No other symptoms like lump.

I’m so sorry you’re so worried about your symptoms. How long have you had the pain? Is it localized or all over the breast? Does it hurt all the time or only when pressed/prodded? Have you tried tracking pain for a couple of months to see if it’s hormone related? You’re so young I wouldn’t worry about breast cancer. Was the ultrasound a targeted one or the whole breast?

If there’s anything I’ve learned from my own breast issues (benign cysts) it’s that aches and pains and lumps and bumps present themselves in very unique ways when they’re located in the breast compared to other areas of the body. This does NOT mean cancer but I think it is the reason why women feel so lost and scared when a pain pops up in that area. Everything feels weird and that can be scary

Could it be muscular? I didn't realize how much our pectoral muscles move/are used in every day activities until I had recon w muscle over the implant. I can't even twist open a bottle of water without feeling it in my chest, and seeing it move. With native breasts you don't notice it so much, thus sometimes masking over exertion.

In no way trying to over simplify, just thinking it may be something to check out, or eliminate.

    Good luck and blessings,

    Vickki

    Hey @erinashley19

Thanks for the reply. The pain is near the chest bone. Sometimes it happens near the side and below of nipple.

It's not always there it happens sometimes. Collarbone pains once or twice a day. Ultrasound was of both the breasts full. So I don't know what it could be. I also have shortness of breath and it pains while taking deep breath.

@vslush about this shoulder pain, doctor says it's vitamin d defeciency. But I am wondering can b12 and D cause breast pain?

I dont't know about those vitamins specifically, but I recently read an article that mentioned breast pain and vitamin E. It also mentioned pain in the chest wall. I would definitely follow up with your Dr.

Hey @vslush, yes I am taking vitamin e and the pain has reduced a little. Swelling I think I have become habitual to or may be it is hormonal.

@joe777 thankfully not yet. I have been diagnosed with mastitis and ductal ecastia. Let's hope symptoms will improve.

    Hi,

Last few days were ok. But for last 3,4 days I have started feeling pain again in my left breast. Should I do MRI ?
