Reconstruction years after mastectomy?

It has been over 9 years after my bilateral mastectomy. I did not have to go through chemo or radiation. I didn't want to deal with more surgeries and more pain for a long time, but I feel like I am ready now. Has anyone else here gone through reconstruction years after the fact?
