Diagnosed left breast cancer

my aunt who is 70yrs old diagnosed left breast cancer 2-3 days back. Doctor advises to undergo surgery. She is high bp n diabetic patient. I would like to know about the surgery and post surgery precaution. Is it advisable to go for surgery at this age?

    If the diabetes and bp are under control through medication, there shouldn't be a problem. Those things are monitored before, during, and after surgery. I'm 68 and diabetic and had three surgeries in the last three months. The pre- and post-op instructions covered what to do for a variety of conditions like diabetes and hbp.
