I was diagnosed April 11 2018. I will never forget that day. I was is complete denial. Depression followed. I discovered my own lump. Mammogram was negative. Biopsy followed with cancer diagnosis. I opted for a lumpectomy in July. I have a BioZorb implant. Although my surgery went well. I developed a hematoma and needed needle aspiration. I'm currently on 8 of my 35 radiation treatments. My body is not responding well to it. I'm seeing my surgeon today. We'll see what she has to say.

Welcome to the club no one wants to join! Our stats look similar and I also have a biozorb device. How many radiation treatments are you scheduled for? I had 20, and got sore nipples around day 12 I think. Hope all goes well for you, and if you're not already using calendula cream I highly recommend it.

Today I completed day 12 of my radiation therapy. I have 23 to go for a total of 35. I felt soreness right away, week one actually. My nipples are very sensitive. I have had several recommendation for the calendula cream. I will definitely be trying it. I try to eat better and exercise, which seems to help a lot. I'm very surprised and disappointed that there isn't more emphasis on nutrition, mental, and physical well being for people being treated for cancer. There seems to be a lack of support groups or organization offering these type of services.
