Lumpectomy was Yesterday!!

My mum has her lumpectomy yesterday. I saw her breast today. there is no scare at all. it looks like nothing done. I think they open small line from the top of the nipple to take out the tumer which is 4 fingers above the nipple. I wonder why they did not cut it above the tumer to take out the skin as well?!!! It looks like benging procedure done!!

also they removed only one node (the sentatial node).

after the surgey, the doctor said breifly everything is good and the sentail node looks good. Does that mean she has clear nodes?? How long it will take to hear the pathalogy test?

My understanding is that they do test the node in the same time of the surgery. if it became positive, they remove all nodes. Is this the case? or it maybe after a week , they will take her again to remove all nodes after the pathalogy test
