i had a bilateral max aug 16th. I only had two fills in my expanders and my surgeon says im done. Isnt two fills a little compared to other woman? Granted i was a saggy B cup before the mastectomy. Also my scars are straight down my breasts. I always saw the scars are horizontal. My surgeon is TOP rated so i have faith hes right. But has anyone else only have two fills. And vertical scars?

The number of fills needed would be dependent on tissue expander max fill size (there are a variety of different sizes with different total volumes that are used depending on the measurements taken by your PS prior to surgery), the amount of surgical fill - if any - amount of subsequent fills, skin/muscle health and tolerance, your physical proportions, and desired final size. Some surgeons like to do small and frequent fills, others use large volume fills. Are you satisfied with your size knowing that you will likely look smaller at exchange than you do with expanders now?

I think I had about 5 or 6 fills. The expanders were about the size I wanted to be before surgery. After surgery I thought I had gone too small, but the implants dropped and fluffed and now I feel they are a perfect size. I am 5'1" about 145lbs and I got 495cc ultra high profile silicone. I am about a 36D. I was a 36DD before.
