Solid adenoma all of a sudden painful

I have recently started getting shooting pains in or around my adenoma has anyone felt that before? I’ve had mine for 9 years and never had a problem until now

To be perfectly honest, the only reason I found out I even had an adenoma was because the pain from it prompted me to see my PCP. I've been told that it isn't common for them to be painful but if the adenoma is quite large then they can be painful. I actually have to have surgery because of the adenomas size and the pain it causes.
