My Mom just got diagnosed

My mom got diagnosed with ER+/PR+ HER 2- Grade 4, Metasized to bones breast cancer. Doc wants to start with Chemo and told us that hormone therapy is an option as well. Is hormone therapy equally potent. Can she just get hormone therapy and not chemo?

    Many times the chemo may come in pill form for stage 4. Did he explain which chemo? You may want to ask your doctor why he wants to do the chemo first before considering other options.

    Thanks for your response. My mom started hormone therapy today after much thinking and discussion with the doctor. She isn’t ready for chemo which according to the doc will act faster than hormone therapy.
