BIRADS 5, waiting for biopsy result

Hi, just laying here trying to sleep, the waiting is just so hard. Had core biopsy today, BIRADS 5 so I’m expecting bad news.

Did not hear on Friday. Now must wait all weekend,until Monday. Just hiding under the covers now, can’t seem to get up.

apatient, I remember getting the BIRADS5 news. We were on vacation in Washington, DC. I didn't even know what all that meant, so I looked it up. Holy crap, 95% risk of cancer. I kind of had a moment, right there in the Capitol building. But then I decided that nothing I did or didn't do was going to make a difference in my results. So, I decided I wasn't going to let it ruin this vacation we had so long looked forward to.

Right now, things don't look good. But we do have some ladies on here who had BIRADs5 who did NOT have cancer. We have a saying here: "Its not cancer until pathology proves it." I know this is very scary, and I have been in your shoes. Let us know how it goes.
