Hard bump next to tissue expander

I am 4 weeks out from bmx with tissue expanders. I just found a hard bump right next to the expander on the non affected side near my armpit. Does anyone know what this could be? It feels long and pokey. I can see it pushing against my skin. I'll call my plastic surgeon in the am, but would like to know if anyone else has experienced this while i wait. My te has the minimum fill because I lost my other expander due to infection.

    I don't have any answers for you but I am in the same boat. Last Sunday, I found a lump in my new Diep breast. I am 7 weeks post-diep surgery. I saw my ps today who texted my breast surgeon from her office and now i have an appt on Monday to see what;s going on. Mine is a hard, pea sized lump in my right breast at at about 11o'clock.


    I hope yours turns out to be nothing to worry about!

    Thank you Wathom. I went in for radiation this morning and had the radiation oncologist look at it. He said it is the tissue expander. It was a little displaced.

    I bet yours is fat necrosis. Good luck!
