Tamoxifen for weak estrogen receptors?

Is it worth it to take Tamoxifen with 10% or 15% estrogen receptors?

The oncologist thinks so. The breast surgeon seemed to have her doubts.

Any thoughts or experience with this?

Go for a second oncologist opinion if you doubt the first one.

Breast surgeons should not be advising on such matters because it is not their domain.

Thanks, muska. Would all oncologists in the same hospital system be likely to recommend the same protocol, though?

Mine says he was trained by the older doctors in the system. It just seems like they would all advise the same standard protocol.
