Update on my second round of chemo.

Hello everybody I hope everything is going well with you all today. Just to give some updates on my second round of chemo. Well I had a 8:30 am appointment on 09/04/2018 and did not leave until 6:30 pm.

Registration went good after that everything else was just a mess, first of all the computers went down and they blame closing on labor day for the back up, it taken them until about 1:pm just to take my vital sign and draw blood and another two hours to see my doctor and when I did get to the treatment room it was about 3:45 pm.

They gave me three pills for nausea run some other medicine in my vein to prevent sickness and then started my chemo medicines and they fast dripped the last chemo drug and that cause my nose to burn like hell because they were late closing the clinic. I was so exhausted when I did made it home 7:30 pm I just went straight to bed.

Well how was my second round of chemo? My doctor said that my tumor is getting smaller and I feel good, I have so much energy just like the first one but I did not take any steroids this time, I been busy cleaning sweeping, mopping, empty trash, went shopping, went for a long walk, cooked breakfast ate real good and I have not got a little sick. I am so full of energy until I am about to get up cook lunch and find something else to keep me occupied, I guess I go for another walk and visit relatives. I will keep you all posted

Elisa, thank you so much for sharing this update! It's so helpful for those who are nervous about starting chemo to get a first-hand story of the real treatment experience. We're sorry your 2nd chemo day was so long and drawn out, but we're happy to hear it seems you're tolerating it well. We hope your future treatments are similar to you (other than the timing!).
