Taxol and pain

Hi. Me again. So I'm doing dd taxol. Treatment today was Monday and wed pains started. Lasted til Friday night. Will this be my routine w each treatment? I have 3 left. Can I expect the same after each? Pain wed to Friday night

    Hello. I am on DD Taxol as well. 3 rounds down, one more to go. Was switched to Abraxane due to allergy last time. My treatment is on Wednesdays as well,and I am in pain until the next Wednesday. Try acupuncture. It won’t get rid of pain completely, but will lessen it considerably. Good luck!

    I’m sorry I missed your post earlier. I had extreme pain with both Taxol (dose dense 6x every two weeks) and Taxotere (6x every three weeks). My MO says I have a sensitivity to the taxanes. Ended up in pain meds both times, just for a few days. If you’re also getting Neulasta, that can contribute to the pain. Claritin before, during and after Neulasta seems to help many of us with bone pain. Hope you feel better soon
