Can you get IBC after a mastectomy?

I know this is a silly question! I have been experiencing horrible pain and have bumps on my left breast and when I touch it Feels like something is stinging me. My Brest are swollen and lymph nodes swollen?

I had bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery 06/28.

    Hello Aim_hope3 and welcome to our community. It sounds like you should just get it checked out by your doctor, especially if it persists. Are you on a regular follow up schedule with your treatment team?

    I was doing so good that the oncologist said no need to come back unless I needed her. I don't see Breast Cancer Surgeon till January (unless needed.) I see the plastic surgeon in 2 weeks. Today it's felt like a bee is just stinging me in the left brea

    Please call your MO or BS promptly! It could be an infection, or worse.

    I don't want to scare you, but my skin metastasis started out as red bumps on my reconstructed breast about 6 weeks after my mastectomy. I had no pain though.
