Core Biopsy samples

Recently I had a core biopsy and the results were benign, which is great. However they only took two samples. From what I am reading- 4-8 are typical. Is there a chance they missed something? The nurse who called with my results also said they would follow up with the standard mammogram in six months. When I went online to see my pathology report because they had not mailed mine it stated annual mammograms could resume. A little concerned-wait six months or a year

Ouiser, Unless I got a diagnostic mammo every six months, I would jump up and down. My lump was visible and not seen by screening mammo. I had 5 samples but my surgeon was 99% sure I had cancer. I did.

Thank you for responding JoE777 , they had me at a Birads 4b - so still uneasy. I believe I’ll go with the nurses suggestion of six months.
