Yellow skin at one week post BMx

my skin is rather yellow on “the good (prophylactic)” side one week Post BMx. I’d say it could be betadine but it’s just that side.....I didn’t notice a bruise there of any other color....anybody else have this? (What does skin that’s thinking of dying look like?)

skin that’s thinking of dying is somewhere between blue and grey and eventually black. I’m betting it’s betadine or deep bruising coming to the surface. Call your PS just in case though,

hi, Lula! Thank you. I see him tomorrow at 1:30 so I’ll show him. I agree it could be deeper bruising coming up. My right inside forearm seems stained/painted but it’s at the more orange/brown iodine end of the color spectrum! Glad I was already expecting the whole bit to look like a war zone. In my younger, pre c-sections, pre-tummy-tuck, pre-hysterectomy years I would have been a mess! Let’s just just say it’s a fixer upper and there is much room for improvement from here

ash, hmmmm I would guess bruising coming to the surface. Same happened to me after my exchange surgery a few weeks ago. Its healed now. Let us know!!
